In Europe, the focus is squarely on track-based racing. Each of these zones offers specialist autosport styles. Race courses in GRID for the PS3 are grouped into three geographical zones including Europe, the USA, and Japan.

It is the first of the series’ games for the PS3 (and Xbox 360). GRIDd follows in the footsteps of its race driver predecessors in the TOCA Touring Car series, also from Codemasters, to focus on race driver skills over vehicles.
